The police are looking for a woman who allegedly attacked a bouncer at a Lower East Side bar.
According to the police, on Sunday, March 8, the 33-year-old bouncer was in a "verbal dispute" with a female patron at the Whiskey Ward Bar on Essex Street. The bouncer asked the woman, who was with a male companion, to leave the bar, and then, police say, she struck the bouncer with "a glass bottle causing minor lacerations." The bouncer was treated at a hospital for his injuries.
Police released an image of the suspect as well as her companion, who is wanted for questioning in the assault.
