A former BET producer is suing the network, claiming she was fired after complaining about being forced to work with a creepy cameraman during an interview with pint-sized, often neon-tressed rapper Nicki Minaj. We don't know what it is about Minaj that inspires the men around her to engage in such sketchy behavior—Regis Philbin gave her a spanking on Live last year— but it's not okay.
The producer, Tameika Dorman, first filed suit against cameraman Derek Clarke in 2009, when he decided to show her a video he shot of her miniskirt-clad behind, then "grabbed and repeatedly rubbed his crotch, began to moan, and said it was because he loved her butt, that she was sexy and that she did not know what he was going to do to her," the suit claims.
Dorman was then forced to work with Clarke again last November when Minaj (who recently played the part of a creep on SNL!) shot an interview for the network. Dorman, then pregnant, protested again to her supervisor and was promptly fired. She's now suing BET for retaliation, gender and pregnancy discrimination. "Kiss My Ass," indeed.
