The police released an image of a man who allegedly robbed two people on the Upper East Side last week. Notably, the 6'1", 250 pound-ish suspect picked victims who are likely students (WCBS 2 says, "NYPD Investigating School Kid Robberies").
According to the Daily News, the suspect "first attacked a 12-year-old boy on E. 65th St. near Third Ave. last Thursday about 3:30 p.m., cops said. He said he had a gun, swiped the youngster's laptop and ran away, police said." Then, on Friday, " the same suspect - who is believed to be 25 to 30 years old - approached a 16-year-old near Park Ave. and E. 83rd St. about 3:15 p.m. Again, he claimed to have a gun and took the teen's iPhone and cash. Neither victim was hurt."
