A boy was trying to enjoy the last bit of winter while playing in an "igloo"—but had to be rescued when the snow structure collapsed on him.
According to JPUpdates, the incident occurred in Borough Park, where children were playing in the backyard of 1529 42nd Street just after 7:30 p.m. last night: "In the middle or forming an igloo it collapsed and the boy was trapped inside."
FDNY and Hatzolah rescued the boy from "10 feet of snow and ice," and he was taken to Lutheran Medical Center and treated for minor injuries.
