Mixed martial arts fighter, actor, and known badass Ronda Rousey went into last night's UFC fight against Holly Holm undefeated and with odds-makers worldwide expecting her to finish the fight in mere moments. The fight ended quickly, in just one round and 59 seconds, but it ended with Holm knocking an already-bloodied Rousey out with a left kick to the head. Holm, the preacher's daughter whose outside-the-ring manner is the opposite of Rousey's sneering menace, cried and said she was blessed during her post-fight interview. Rousey didn't have one because she was headed to a hospital for an overnight stay.

The now-former women's bantamweight champion predicted what would be her downfall during an interview on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last month.

"I feel like she's going to try and keep distance and keep far away from me and get me frustrated to a point where I'll make a mistake and she can try and kick me in the head," Rousey said, adding, "But it's not going to go like that."

Rousey's pre-fight cockiness, which extended to refusing to touch gloves with Holm last night, made her defeat fodder for heaps of memes.
