J. Lo in Times Square, and as a kid in the Bronx
Jennifer Lopez brought her "Be Extraordinary" billboard to Times Square yesterday, and talked about her roots at the unveiling. Lopez went to the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club in the Bronx, and partly credits their teachings for her success today. She told the audience, "When I started going there, it was the first time I sang, danced and performed in front of an audience. I wanted to be there every day. They taught me how to be disciplined and be perseverant and to believe in my God-given talents."
She also told People magazine she was considering bringing her twins there, noting that what she learned there, "that is something I would like them to learn as well." But will she really bring them there?
